Funded Places and Additional Charges
At Pinxton Nursery School and Pinxton 0–5 Nursery School CIC, we offer Government‑funded early education places for eligible children. Our funded entitlement is delivered free of charge at the point of access and covers early education and care only. No additional charges are made for the funded hours themselves, and access to funded provision is not conditional upon the payment of any extra fees.
Government funding does not fully cover some operational costs and consumables. Therefore, we may request voluntary contributions for additional services and resources that are not a condition of accessing funded hours. Full details of any optional charges are provided to parents in advance.

- Any extra services or activities are optional
- Term time and stretched funding is available
- Pinxton 0-5 nursery school is open 49 weeks of the year. Full closure on bank holidays, and two-weeks of the year – August Bank Holiday and a week at Christmas
