Christmas
The children have really enjoyed decorating the christmas tree within the cosy room. We have been busy hanging the decorations and having our photos taken with the tree. Please see some of our photos below...
Baby Room
Our creative activities this week are; star printing with paints and glitter, hand printing with green paints to create Christmas trees, sticking and gluing with a range of materials, bauble rolling to create patters and marks, also junk box modelling.
Our focus books this we are; Baby Jesus story, Night before Christmas, That’s not my Santa, we wish you a merry Christmas and Me… We will be singing our focus song ‘Jingle Bells’ along with a range of other Christmas related songs; when Santa got stuck up the chimney, build a snowman and twinkle, twinkle Christmas star.
Within our investigation area we will be exploring; cornflour with tools, rice with stacking cups, shaving foam with wellingtons, oats and glitter, also red jelly with green objects.
