Our Baby Room Sessions

Jayne (Headteacher), Lauren (Childcare Manager) or Grace (Senior Nursery Nurse) will meet your child at the door and bring them into the Nursery. 

Within the baby room, we have toys and resources available all the time as part of our continuous provision, and staff plan enhancements to these activities to support the children's learning and to follow their interests. Activities are planned for both inside and outside.

Our areas of play within the baby room are:

• Construction area
• Small world area
• Mud kitchen
• Large motor play
• Imaginative area
• Sand play
• Small motor/sensory
• Investigation area
• Creative play
• First word basket
• Treasure basket

The children in the baby room also enjoy story/singing time during each session at nursery. We have a focus book each day linking to our focus topic for the week.
