Today, we have had a very special visit from South Normanton Dental Practice. The children loved seeing Charlotte and Emma, they planned some wonderful activities for the children to explore. The children listened to the story book 'Maisy, Charlie and the wobbly tooth' 

Charlotte spoke to the children about people they might see at the dentist and different roles they have. Emma wore her uniform and showed the children different types of PPE which staff wear at the dentist.

The children loved practicing their brushing skills with Charlotte, brushing away the marker pens from the teeth. With Emma, the children then spoke about different types of 'good' and 'bad' foods. They were able to identify the foods correctly, then put them in the 'good' or 'bad' group. 

We would like to say a big thank you to South Normanton Dental Practice for coming to visit us today at nursery. They were also very generous and provided each child within nursery with a timer for brushing their teeth and a sticker chart. 

Thank you Charlotte and Emma! The children loved it!
