• The Forest Schools Site is finished!

  We’ve made some exciting new developments to our Forest School Site.  

   

  We have installed an amazing Hobbit House to act as an outdoor classroom for our children. This has created a wonderful area for imaginative play activities. 

   

  To further develop the children’s communication and language skills, we have installed Den Posts, Mark Making Boards and a Story Telling Circle. 

   

  The Den Posts will encourage children to work together to construct magnificent dens: developing fine motor skills needed for writing as they thread and weave materials through the holes. 

   

  Moreover, the Story Telling Circle provides children with a social setting to read their favourite stories to their friends sat around listening. This will help develop their spoken language, confidence and literacy skills.

   

  For this project, we worked with Pentagon Play who design and install outdoor learning environments for schools and nurseries. You can visit their website here – www.pentagonplay.co.uk

  Today is an INSET day for all children in the OVER 3's Nursery (Unless you have previously booked in care with Jayne). We look forward to seeing you all next week. Thank you!

  We raised a whopping £107 for Comic Relief on Friday!

• Red Nose Day

  It is Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March. Children are invited to attend Nursery dressed in red for a 50p donation. Red Noses are available n the Over 3's for £1.25.

• Educational Psychologist

• World Book Day
