COVID 19 Community Testing Centre
Community testing in our area
Derbyshire County Council has opened a community coronavirus testing centre in South Normanton for people living in the South Normanton, Blackwell, Pinxton and Westhouses. This testing centre aims to pick up those people who have coronavirus, but have no symptoms, so that they then don’t pass it on to other people.
Everyone living locally is being asked to go to the test centre once a week for a coronavirus test. Please do not go if you have coronavirus symptoms. If you do have coronavirus symptoms please book a test in the usual way by going to gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
The centre is at the Post Mill Centre, Market Street, South Normanton, Derbyshire, DE55 2EJ and is open until Sunday 28 February. Opening times are 9am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 4pm Saturday & Sunday.
There’s more information about community testing on the county council’s website – derbyshire.gov.uk/communitytesting
