Singing Time
The importance of singing times - At Pinxton nursery we love to provide lots of opportunities for the babies and children to learn new songs and actions. Through action songs, this provides the children chance to develop their co-ordination, gross and fine motor skills. Singing time for the babies, will prepare them for communicating when they get bigger. For toddlers and children, singing strengthens their lips and tongue which encourages clear speaking and enables them the chance to expand their vocabulary!
We use a variety of resources to engage the children during our singing times. Here is some pictures of the kind of resources we love to explore; musical instruments, singing cards, counting hand puppets and singing booklets.
